We reduce the number of unwanted, abandoned, and abused Akitas across the Southeast, provide refuge when needed, and place them in responsible, loving homes.

Dorie Sparkman and ARSF’s volunteers have built more than a placement organization. Their work carries decades of breed experience, direct support for owners and shelters, medical advocacy, careful matching, and enduring relationships with adopters.
