We reduce the number of unwanted, abandoned, and abused Akitas across the Southeast, provide refuge when needed, and place them in responsible, loving homes.

The society’s work spans education, owner intervention, spay and neuter support, medical advocacy, deliberate adoption, community partnership, and lifelong support.
